Fire Prevention and Life Safety Inspections are required before any business and certain residential buildings are permitted to open for business. Thereafter, each building should be inspected at least annually to determine if the required Fire Prevention and Life Safety precautions are in place. Certain facilities require semi annual inspections. These facilities would have higher occupancy levels or hazardous materials.
